A Jimmy Z's pizza is a taste sensation that takes you back to when you were young and ate pizza from the nice little Italian guy on the corner. The smells remind you of walking into the pizza shop and seeing all the activity. Our target market is families with children who want a quick meal on the go that everyone will enjoy. We have 2 floor plans; one for 800 sq. ft. and the 2nd is a 1,000 sq ft store with take out and seating. We like small towns and established business or college areas. A Jimmy Z's pizza is good, old fashioned, square pizza, made the way it should be. At Jimmy Z's pizza we don't cut corners. We make our dough fresh every day; our sauce is our own special recipe and is made fresh with the finest ingredients. Our special blend of cheeses is shredded in house for freshness and quality. A Jimmy Z's pizza is twice baked to give it the "Crust with Crunch" taste. It is covered with our delicious sauce and topped with the finest ingredients. Try a Jimmy Z's pizza and I'm sure you will agree Jimmy Z's Old Fashioned, Square Pizza is the best around, made the way it used to be.
2. Who is Jimmy Z's?
Jimmy Z's is a family oriented business where everyone is treated like family. Jimmy Z's is a community centered organization dedicated to helping the communities in which they are located. Jimmy Z's is about people, and we have some of the finest. Jimmy Z's is quality products, which taste better than anyone else's, and has the freshest ingredients. Jimmy Z's is a vision of Mike and Jim where the best products, opportunity, financial package, and training in the business collide.
3. How much will I make?
The sky's the limit! You are only limited to by your own vision and hard work. Jimmy Z's business consultants will help provide extensive training and support and will be there for you as your business develops and grows. We have a proven formula that works, which will lead to profits for you. It will be you who determines your success; Jimmy Z's will provide the operating system to set you up to be successful.
4. What's the total cost?
There are many factors that help to shape the answer to this question. In general, you will at least 25k liquid cash and a total of between 90 and 140k. Location, amount of renovation required, rents, etc. all affect the total dollar amount. Financing is usually not available for some items but other items such as improvements to the building, and franchise fee are normally financed. Jimmy Z's offers no financing to prospective franchisees.
5. What do I pay to Jimmy Z's?
At Jimmy Z's, your franchise fee is only $12,000, that is all you pay us up front. This gives the franchisee rights to our systems and recipes and the use of our name and logos. The franchise fee also covers training for new franchisees in addition to any help with setting up your store including site selection. Often our support and costs for bringing a new franchisee on board exceeds the franchise fee collected but at Jimmy Z's, we will not charge for these additional costs and time. You pay an ongoing royalty fee of 5% of the sales volume. This royalty fee gives you ongoing use of our name and systems, advice on improving store issues, new product development, group discount power in purchasing, and anything that improves the overall marking of Jimmy Z's Pizza. In addition, there is a 2% advertising fee again on the sales volume. These monies are only used for advertising and related costs. All of these costs are explained in detail in our Franchise Agreement.
6. What kind of experience do I need to become a Jimmy Z's Franchisee?
Experience in management/ownership, foodservice, retail, marketing or other related areas are indeed helpful, but not absolutely necessary. Jimmy Z's seeks highly motivated, aggressive people with a desire to succeed.

A successful business always has a successful business man behind it. If you are a jack of all trades, but a master of none, you are most likely to be a success. To run a successful business it takes a lot of different skills - promotion, management, financial, etc. If you could do all of those pretty well, you can succeed. A business owner cannot be an absentee owner. You must work the business and be willing to work hard. We believe in the power of having a good location. You can stay in business with a great location, even if you aren't the best businessperson, but the opposite is not true. While the possibility of making a lot of money is there with a great location, it just is not with a poor location, no matter how good a businessperson you are. Think big.
